The Meaning of Warp and Woof
The terms "warp" and "woof" refer to the foundational elements of weaving, a craft that holds significant cultural and symbolic meaning in biblical times. The warp consists of the vertical threads held in tension on a loom, while the woof (or weft) refers to the horizontal threads interlaced through the warp.
